Description:
The West Haven WPCF Secondary Sludge Building Pump Station Upgrade project involves the replacement of two dry-pit submersible pumps with end suction centrifugal pumps to route plant drain water to the head of the BNR process. The upgrades will provide improved reliability of the pumping station. The work includes the installation and maintenance of a temporary bypass system while construction is in progress, the demolition and replacement of existing pumps, the demolition and replacement of ductile iron pipe sections and valves to accommodate the new pumps, the demolition and replacement of existing adjustable frequency drives, the installation of new feed wiring for the pumps and controls, and tie-in to the existing plant control system.

All bids must be in accordance with the Bidding Documents on file with the City of West Haven, Office of the Director of Finance, City Hall, 355 Main St., West Haven, CT 06516, and at the office of Black & Veatch Corp., 200 Wheeler Road, Burlington, MA 01803.

Copies of the Bidding Documents are available for viewing in the Office of the City Engineer, City Hall, 355 Main St., West Haven, CT, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, except holidays.

Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the director of finance in person only at the address indicated herein on the following basis:
