The Community Development Administration (CDA) has a Single Family Housing Rehabilitation Program which is a low interest loan program. You must meet the income guidelines based on your adjusted gross income and family size. You may contact the CDA Office to inquire about these guidelines.
Additionally, CDA is developing a similar program for Multi-family houses (2- 4 units) which are owner occupied. This program should be available sometime in the Fall, 2010.
You may obtain an application from the CDA Office, 2nd Floor, City Hall or you may call the Office at 203-937-3550 and ask that an application be mailed to you. You may also request an application via e-mail at: CDA@cityofwesthaven.com . Once the completed application and all required documentation is obtained, approval will take approximately 4 – 6 weeks.
