City ‘strongly’ recommends people wear masks indoors

WEST HAVEN, Aug. 9, 2021 — The city departments of Health and Emergency Management strongly recommend that all people wear face masks indoors in areas of high or substantial COVID-19 transmission regardless of vaccination status.

All eight counties in Connecticut are considered areas of substantial transmission.
