Procurement Services

The Procurement Department is responsible for administering the city’s centralized purchasing function, including the issuance of all purchase orders on behalf of the city, maintaining vendor information, centralized printing and supplies management, and city mail services.

Procurement is responsible for administering all invitation for bids (ITB), request for proposals (RFP), request for qualifications (RFQ), vendor sole source designations and approvals for city agencies to use cooperating procurement consortiums.

The Procurement Department is responsible for maintaining vendor information for the City of West Haven. The City of West Haven requires that vendors file a W-9 Form, Vendor Application Form and City Disclosure Form when requesting to do business with the city or their entity information has changed.
