Overview

The West Haven Tree Commission is committed to the establishment, development maintenance and preservation of urban forest and green spaces for the environmental, economical and social benefits to our community.

• Establishment of Green Spaces: Reforestation and rehabilitation.
• Development: Replanting suitable species of trees.
• Preservation: Looking at pest and disease, prevalence area of soil erosion, conservation, wind breaks.

Trees are a wonderful way to honor and recognize friends and loved ones while contributing to the health and well-being of the whole community.

Your tax-deductible donation to “Trees for Tomorrow” will become part of a special fund, used specifically for the planting of trees throughout West Haven, which will serve as an enduring tribute.

Celebrate a special occasion, such as a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary, a graduation or the life of a loved one, with a gift that will last for decades.
